- Encryption Standards - Advocating for and contributing to the establishment of post-quantum encryption standards for Malaysia is done through the MySEAL initiatives, ensuring a unified and secure approach across industries.
- Industry Partnerships - Cryptography Development Department actively collaborates with industry partners to create a collective front against quantum threats. These partnerships enable us to pool resources, share expertise, and collectively contribute to the advancement of post-quantum security measures.
- Awareness Sessions - Committed to fostering awareness about the implications of quantum computing on cybersecurity, the team conducts regular awareness sessions, webinars, and seminars to educate individuals, businesses, and government entities about the evolving threat landscape and the importance of post-quantum preparedness.
- Establishment of Special Interest Group on Post-Quantum – This group involved participation from the government, academia, industry, and the public, with the primary objective of sharing the latest knowledge and information regarding post-quantum initiatives.
